UP fund

The majority of our profits go to homeless housing and support in London via our UP fund or are reinvested in the organisation so we can increase our impact over the longer term. Money will be awarded to projects that provide housing and/or support to people in London who have become homeless.

We are supporting local homeless charity the 999 Club

We are supporting local charity the 999 Club (based on Deptford Broadway) with their awareness and fundraising efforts. They provide advice and support for people who are homeless to equip them with the ability and confidence to learn new skills, gain employment and find sustainable housing solutions. Find out more at: We are match-funding customer donations to the 999 Club up to £25 per property sale/let. Donate here.

What type of homeless housing and support will we contribute to in future?

One idea is to contribute to non-profit quality temporary accommodation in London to work against:

  • the large amount of public funds through housing benefits and significant additional local authority reserves being spent on temporary accommodation in what can be sub-standard living conditions charged at costly nightly rates
  • people being placed in accommodation outside of London away from their established social networks such as employment, schools and friendship groups – this can be extremely difficult to experience and can consequently cause people to be more dependent on welfare services.

We are likely to need a large amount of profits to make a significant impact in this area, so this could potentially be a longer-term plan once we have scaled-up our operations.
