A unique 652sqft split-level apartment close to local amenities and within easy reach of Canada Water and Surrey Quays stations. Fully refurbished to a high standard, a lantern-style roof bathes the living area with natural light. It has allocated parking and a separate kitchen.

The double sized bedroom, attractively tiled bathroom with window and substantial storage cupboard are on the first floor entrance level. Going up the stairs you enter the main living space with high ceilings, beams with industrial steel features, in-built shelving and 270-degree windows in the upper roof area. The well-finished kitchen has plenty of counter space.

The tranquil surroundings include South Dock Marina, Greenland Dock and the Thames Path. Nearby is Surrey Docks Fitness and Watersports Centre, together with the shops, cafes and green spaces of the recently developed Greenland Place, including Tesco Express and The Pear Tree Kitchen. A scenic walk takes you to Canada Water Station (Jubilee Line & London Overground, Zone 2) and Surrey Quays Station (London Overground, Zone 2). The river bus services from Greenland Pier also offer an alternative way of commuting to Canary Wharf, The City and beyond.

It is one of the few period buildings in the area and was built in the 1890s by James Adair McConnochie who was the chief engineer of the Surrey Commercial Dock Company and responsible for establishing Canada Dock, as well as the attractive Dock Offices building near what is now Canada Water Station. Originally built as the Grain Office and later becoming the National Dock Labour Board Office. In 1988 the building was used by Damien Hurst for an art exhibition titled Freeze, and it was fully refurbished and converted into 12 residential units by Redrow Homes in 1997. About half of the original structure remains. It is often incorrectly referred to as a former Police Station.

Southwark Council Tax Band: D. Holding Deposit: £426 (one weeks rent). Security Deposit: £2,134 (five weeks rent). Water rates included in rent.
