A west-facing refurbished conversion flat contained within an interesting building dating back to the 1890s. It has a new kitchen and shower room, solid wood floors in the spacious living room and bedroom, direct access to a secluded patio area, allocated parking and is conveniently located for both stations and local amenities.

This wonderful bright and relaxing home has been superbly cared for by the current owners. There is a welcoming entrance hall, a high-quality kitchen with plenty of cupboards and countertop space, a sizeable shower room and a double bedroom with an abundance of storage.

The tranquil surroundings include South Dock Marina, Greenland Dock and the Thames Path. Nearby is Surrey Docks Fitness and Watersports Centre, together with the shops, cafes and green spaces of the recently developed Greenland Place, including a Tesco Express and the Plough Way Cafe. A scenic walk takes you to Canada Water Station (Jubilee Line & London Overground, Zone 2) and Surrey Quays Station (London Overground, Zone 2). The River Taxi services from Greenland Pier also offer an alternative way of commuting with Canary Wharf reachable in minutes.

It is one of the few period buildings in the area and was built in the 1890s by James Adair McConnochie who was the chief engineer of the Surrey Commercial Dock Company and responsible for establishing Canada Dock, as well as the attractive Dock Offices building near what is now Canada Water Station. Originally built as the Grain Office and later becoming the National Dock Labour Board Office, it was fully refurbished and converted into 12 residential units by Redrow Homes in 1997. About half of the original structure remains. It is often incorrectly referred to as a former Police Station.

The service charge is approximately £1,700 per annum and includes the water rates. The ground rent is £75 per annum and the lease has 100 full years remaining. There is also the option to buy the share of freehold.
